ITINERARY
Night 1: Take night train to Lao Cai
Vietnam Explorient Travel ’s guide and transport will pick you up from your hotel or home and transfer to Hanoi railway station for boarding the overnight train departing Hanoi for Sapa, four berth air-conditioned superior cabin with clean sheet, western toilet facilities, you can request us to upgrade your ticket to a private cabin for your convenience. Your train will arrive to Lao Cai town at around 5.30 Am the next day.
Accommodation: Soft sleeper in AC cabin
Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Tavan Village
Upon arrival at Lao Cai Railway station in the early morning, our awaiting guide and driver will meet you right at the exit of the station. Transfer you for an hour drive up hill to Sapa town. Check in hotel, freshen up and enjoy breakfast at the nearby local restaurant, (Check in time is 1.00 Pm, free early check in is subjected to availability). Then stroll around Sapa town, visit Sapa market and chatting with H’Mong, Dao people who come to market for trading. Colorful tribal dress, purses, aluminum bracelet, silver necklaces.
After lunch, depart hotel for the afternoon 2,5 hour trekking through Muong Hoa valley of Lao Chai village of H'mong people, and Ta Van village of Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. The valley is covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Sapa in the afternoon. You enjoy wandering around Sapa town. Dinner tonight is on your own arrangement.

Day 2: Sapa - Tram Ton Pass - Heavens Gate - 2900m
After breakfast, we travel by car toward the Silver Waterfall where you will be able to take a short walk to the waterfall. We will then drive further passing the Tram Ton Pass to Heaven Gate, the highest peak of roads in Vietnam where you can see Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains and down hill is stunning view of Binh Lu valley.
The beginning of the trek is relatively soft until lunch place. After couple of hours of hiking, we will have a break at a nice spot in the forest and enjoy a good lunch.
Afternoon we continue the trek ascending as well as descending towards the campsite. En route we have opportunity to enjoy the scenery and spectacular views to Sapa area. We will arrive to the campsite at 2900m in the late afternoon.
There is time to relax and enjoy a special dinner prepared by your local guide also the cooker. Trekking: 5 hrs/ascend 2,900 m from 1,600 m (Sapa).

Day 3: 2900m – Fansipan peak (3143m) – 2700m
After breakfast, we climb to the peak of Fansipan, now you conquer the roof of “Indochine”. It is great excuse to have a celebration and enjoy the panoramic view. You will then start descending. Lunch place is a nice spot where you could relax for a while and enjoy the view. Afternoon, we start the hard trek, which is all the way downhill follows the animal trails through rainforest. This part requires a great concentration to step on steep trail until we reach the campsite at 2700m. Here we spend another night in tent. Trekking: 6 hrs/ascend 3,143 m and descend to 2,700m.

Day 4: 2700m – Sin Chai – Sapa
Great experience when you wake up in the fresh and pure morning in nature. We trek downhill through rain forest to the stop for lunch. We will then continue descending toward Sin Chai village – home of Black H’mong tribe. Be acquaint with the local people and visit their home for a while before we the jeep take you back to Sapa.
Get the room for freshement and until transfer to Laocai Railway Station for the night train back to Hanoi. Trekking: 6 hrs/descend to 1,600m

Day 5: Back to Hanoi
Arrives the Hanoi railway station early morning. End tour.
